Delta, CO

Ouida Touchón is a visual artist from New Mexico, who now resides in the town of Delta, on the western slope of the Rockies. She owns a historic 1910 bungalow with a carriage house in the back where she spends most of her waking moments at the easel or the press.

She holds a BFA in painting from the Kansas City Art Institute, and Master of Art from the University of Missouri at Kansas City in studio arts. In addition, she has studied with mentors and distinguished printmakers and painters in Italy, Mexico, and the United States.

Her work has been exhibited at various galleries and museums including El Paso Museum of Art, the Federal Building in Las Cruces New Mexico, and the Las Cruces Museum of Art, Arvada Colorado Center for the Arts, Red Brick Center for the Arts, Aspen, the Grand Mesa Arts Center, Cedaredge and Mixx Atelier, Telluride, Colorado.
